What is Rock Raiders

LEGO Rock Raiders was a short-lived theme produced from 1999-2000. The premise is a group of LEGO space miners who collect energy crystals for power on an alien planet. Along the way they encounter rock monsters who also want the crystals. The LEGO sets had a heavy duty feel, with a wide variety of digging and hauling vehicles.

LEGO released a variety of media to tie into the game, including books, and video games for PC and PlayStation. The PC video game captured the imaginations of many young fans, including me. Although many of the vehicles and buildings featured in the video game could be purchased directly as sets, some of them were custom built and never released as sets. In addition to these models, there were also a number of unique merchandise like t-shirts and keychains produced.

Purpose of this site

In 2021 I started to collect all the physical LEGO Rock Raiders sets and merchandise. As of fall 2023 I have finished collecting all the physical sets, but am still on the lookout for a number of unique items.

This website is the resource I wish I had two years ago, when I first started my collection. I wanted a single place where I could start looking for all the available Rock Raiders collectibles.
