Minifigures
Most of the Rock Raiders have fairly similar designs between the in-game and physical versions, with a notable exception. Although the DDI Dump and marketing materials and prototypes show the crew with leg prints, none of the released figures contain them.
Rock Raider
Role: ?
Rock Raider is the standard miner featured in the Rock Raiders PC video game. It does not have a physical counterpart. Although the torso looks similar to Sparks’ torso at first glance, it’s actually an entirely different graphic. The head is a generic Yellow Minifigure, Head Standard Grin Pattern
.
Chief
Role: Captain
The original plan for Chief was for him to be released as a bonus figure with the Rock Raiders video game. This plan was scrapped and the minifigure was instead released as set 3347, part of the Mini Heroes Collection.
The designer of the figure (Simeon Hankins) created a thread on Rock Raiders United where he explained the development of the figure and shared images of his one-of-a-kind prototype.
