Prototypes

The prototypes with blue backgrounds were created by LEGO. The original plan was to release them onto the market in July 1999 as a teaser series. Four of the smaller models were even given official LEGO set numbers. The physical models were given to DDI to use for the video game cutscenes.Source: DDI Dump email from 29 Oct 1998.
